Franck Christoph
Yeznikian
Composer
Franck, a French composer, was born in 1969 in Besançon, France. He pursued various musical experiences before embarking on his career in composition. He began his study of acousmatic music under the tutelage of Denis Dufour and Jean-Marc Duchenne. However, his interest shifted towards written music after meeting Klaus Huber, which led him to study medieval counterpoint with Gérard Geay.
While studying under Huber privately, Franck completed his composition studies and obtained his higher degree under Robert HP Platz in Maastricht in 2002.
His talent was soon recognized with numerous awards, including the Besançon International Competition for orchestra with Lacrimis Adamanta Movebis, a prize from the Akademie der Künste Berlin, and a prize from the city of Salzburg.
